The Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG) invites interested parties to apply for participation in the training that will be held from October 1st to 31st as part of the project “Skills for Sustainable Employment in the Cross-Border Region of Montenegro and the Republic of Kosovo – No Borders! (NO BORDERS).”
As stated by PKCG, the right (eligibility) to participate is granted to unemployed individuals (aged 18-35) and women from Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Gusinje, Kolašin, Petnjica, Mojkovac, Plav, Podgorica, Rožaje, Zeta, and Tuzi, as well as final-year students of vocational secondary schools.
“The project is part of the Interreg-IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Montenegro – Kosovo 2014-2020, implemented in partnership between the two national chambers of commerce, NGO ETRI, and the Regional Business Center Berane, and co-financed by the European Union. The goal is to enhance the employability of young people and women by improving the knowledge and skills necessary for employment,” stated the PKCG invitation.
From the received applications, they explained, 11 participants will be selected for a paid one-month online training for developing ideas with the goal of starting their own business.
“This will include workshops and individual mentoring in areas such as: legal issues and business registration, financial management/accounting, strategic planning and business models, marketing and sales, and digital marketing. With the support of trainers and mentors, participants will develop business plans by the end of the training and acquire the necessary knowledge for its realization, i.e., starting their own business. The three best business ideas/plans will also receive financial support in the amount of 500, 1,000, and 2,000 euros, respectively,” the Chamber stated.
Applications are open until September 20th, and the form can be found at the link.
