πŸ“– β€œToday, the Government of Montenegro, at the proposal of the Ministry of Economic Development, adopted two key programs that we prepared with dedication and care: the Program for Enhancing Economic Competitiveness for 2025, as well as the Program for the Development and Promotion of Crafts for 2025,” said the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Nik Gjeloshaj.

πŸ‡²πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί β€œThe direction of the Government of Montenegro and the Ministry of Economic Development is to create an economic support program focused on encouraging import substitution, especially in the food industry, with the aim of reducing external dependence, increasing domestic production, improving quality, and creating new jobs,” emphasized Gjeloshaj.

βœ…πŸ“ For the implementation of the Program for Enhancing Economic Competitiveness for 2025, a budget of 3️⃣.5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣.0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ EUR πŸ’Ά has been allocated, which will be distributed through three support program lines:
➑️ Support line for improving production capacities in the food industry;
➑️ Support line for women’s entrepreneurship;
➑️ Support line for encouraging sustainable health development.

πŸ“Œ The main goal of the Program for the Development and Promotion of Crafts for 2025 is to encourage the development of Montenegrin artisans through financial support for the purchase of equipment/tools/raw materials intended for craft activities and integrating their operations into the legal economy, including: strengthening competitiveness of existing artisans; increasing the number of registered artisans; supporting beginner artisans; encouraging entrepreneurship among women and youth in crafts; and supporting artisans in acquiring raw materials.
